I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to meet with me to talk about your children. I really enjoyed meeting with you and sharing your children's strengths. I am VERY thankful to have all of you as parents. I really feel like we are a team and I want you all to know the work you are putting in with your children does not go unnoticed. Much of their growth is a direct reflection of the time you are putting in at home.. So, THANK YOU!
We had a great week learning about compassion. Today we read a book called I Like Your Buttons about how giving someone praise and encouragement can cause a chain reaction of kindness. The buttons on your child's shirt is to remind them to give praise and encouragement. INDEPENDENT STUDY:

Mrs. SilskiI'm thrilled to be teaching my sixth year at HRCCS! I went to Chico State where I received a BA in Liberal Studies, a Minor in Latin American Studies and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I taught 3rd/4th for eight years at a multi-age, project-based, performing and visual arts school in my hometown of Stockton. My husband and I moved to Auburn in 2007 to be close to the trails and raise our children, Robby (9) and Amaya (4). I enjoy painting, cooking, working in the yard, and eating my way through San Francisco. Archives
