I am ready for cooler temperatures and soup for dinner! I plan on decorating my house for Halloween this weekend in hopes of coaxing the temperature to drop.
This week our science theme was All About Me. We drew self-portraits, measured how tall we are, graphed our favorite colors, and found friends that shared similarities and differences to practice comparing and contrasting. I created a Homework Help packet that I sent home in their folders today. Please keep this handy because you will need it to help your child with IS/homework throughout the year. I will talk more about it tonight. REMINDERS:
INDEPENDENT STUDY: Turn in all of the "paper" work next Wednesday.
HOMEWORK: The following assignments are to be done Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Thank you for taking the time to be informed! Please email me if you have any questions. Best, Mrs. Silski Comments are closed.

Mrs. SilskiI'm thrilled to be teaching my sixth year at HRCCS! I went to Chico State where I received a BA in Liberal Studies, a Minor in Latin American Studies and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I taught 3rd/4th for eight years at a multi-age, project-based, performing and visual arts school in my hometown of Stockton. My husband and I moved to Auburn in 2007 to be close to the trails and raise our children, Robby (9) and Amaya (4). I enjoy painting, cooking, working in the yard, and eating my way through San Francisco. Archives
