Check out the homepage of my website for some pictures of our first day! The day was fun a productive! We learned how to rotate from group to group and lots of other rules and procedures. We also went on a hunt for Pete the Cat while taking a tour of the school. The kids wrote their names and drew self-portraits, sorted their shoes, became authors, and had Choice Time. I enjoyed seeing how they interacted with one another and what makes each of them tick.
Also, please be sure to read the post below if you haven't already. I need two parents to help from 12:25-1:00 this Wednesday. You can use the form below to RSVP. Thank you to those of you that have already submitted the form. Thank you for taking the time to be informed! Mrs. Silski Comments are closed.

Mrs. SilskiI'm thrilled to be teaching my sixth year at HRCCS! I went to Chico State where I received a BA in Liberal Studies, a Minor in Latin American Studies and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I taught 3rd/4th for eight years at a multi-age, project-based, performing and visual arts school in my hometown of Stockton. My husband and I moved to Auburn in 2007 to be close to the trails and raise our children, Robby (9) and Amaya (4). I enjoy painting, cooking, working in the yard, and eating my way through San Francisco. Archives
